Eddie Hearn rules out Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora weighing in together after table thrown in chaotic press conference

Eddie Hearn has ruled out British heavyweights Dillian Whyte and Dereck Chisora facing off or weighing in together after tempers flared at their final press-conference on Wednesday.

Tempers flared during the Wednesday press-conference when Chisora reacted angrily to threats made by Whyte surrounding a possible encounter between the pair outside the ring.

Delboy tossed the table in the direction of his opponent, leading to chaotic scenes, and Hearn admits there is so much concern about a repeat that the pair will be separated now until fight night.

"It wasn't good. Dereck lost his rag and picked up the table," Hearn told IFLTV. "The plan was not to give them a face-off today. On Friday, there will certainly not be a face-off, in fact they won't even weigh in together"

Hearn rejected the possibility of the fight not taking place after Wednesday's antics, but confirmed the heavyweights will not meet again until fight night.

"No, the fight is going to happen," Hearn added. "They're not around each other now until they meet in the ring. It's disappointing."
