Anthony Martial’s parents have moved in with the French ace to help save his Manchester United career.
Boss Jose Mourinho and his staff were so concerned that Martial was losing his focus that talks were held to help the youngster rediscover his mojo.
Now it’s understood that the20-year-old’s parents left France to move in with their son in Manchester and help him recover from a tough summer at Euro 2016 and a poor start to the domestic campaign.
Mourinho was concerned for the £36million striker’s welfare after he broke up with Samantha Jacquelinet with whom he has a daughter, Toto.
Now, though, Martial is back in love with football – and is flying again after scoring a double against West Ham to fire United into the EFL Cup semi-finals against Hull.
Martial, signed from Monaco two seasons ago, could cost United another £8.4m.
The Frenchman’s goals against West Ham were his third and fourth of the season – and four more will make 25 since his transfer.
That will trigger a payment as part of the agreement with Monaco but United insist they will be more than happy to pay out.
