Brazilian Psychic May Have Predicted Chapecoense Plane Crash Eight Months Ago

A Brazilian psychic may have predicted the horrific plane crash involving the Chapecoense squad.

A plane carrying the Brazilian football team crashed in Colombia overnight.

Virtually all of the playing squad and coaching staff died in the incident, which also took the life of air crew and club directors. 75 passengers are confirmed to have died so far.

Brazil is in mourning following the tragic incident with tributes pouring in from across the world.

Footage has now emerged on social media of psychic Carlinhos predicting the tragedy in March.

Carlinhos made the prediction
The clip shows him saying: "A whole football team will die in a plane crash. Make a note of what I'm saying, this will happen within a year and a half."

He was then asked if the team would be Brazilian but admitted he was uncertain.

The 53-year-old, real name José Ferreira dos Santos Carlinhos, shot to stardom in 2014 after predicting World Cup results.

He is alleged to have predicted Brazil would lose 7-1 to Germany in the historic semi-final, and also claimed Neymar would suffer a tournament-ending injury.

Atletico Nacional, the reigning Colombian and South American champions, have confirmed that they asked South American football's governing body, CONMEBOL, to award the title to Chapecoense.

Other clubs from Brazil's top flight have requested that Chapecoense are immune from relegation for the next three seasons.

They have also suggested that clubs should loan players to the stricken club free of charge for the 2017 campaign.
