Sunday's EPL Round Up -- Things we Learned

Incredible Alexis Sanchez wins it for Arsenal at home to Bournemouth. Stoke City continues their amazing form as they got another win away at Watford. Manchester United again drew at home to Westham, and Ronald Koeman's Everton beaten by his former team Southampton.

These were the major things that happened on Sunday in the EPL.

   Four things we learnt

1. Arsenal still very much dependent on their golden boy Sanchez as they ran away with a 3-1 win at home to Bournemouth at the Emirate. Sanchez was at the heart of everything for Arsenal, as he got two goals to give Arsenal their first win following three consecutive draws.

2. Stoke City continues to fly high in the league following their 1-0 win at Watford. The only goal in the game was an own goal from Watford's goalkeeper Gomes as he was unable to keep out Charlie Adam's powerful header.

3. Home is not always home: Manchester United can't just find the number one formula to remain consistent in the league, as they have now drawn four consecutive games at home this season following their recent 1-1 draw to Westham. Mourinho may have been sent to the stand for his behaviour on the touchline, but his Man Utd team needs more shooting practice as they squandered big opportunities in the game with Rashford and Ibrahimovic being the biggest culprit on the night. To this point Manchester united has been x out of the title race and top four may be their only ambition in the league.

4. Southampton shows Koeman what he is missing as they defeated Everton by a solitary goal on his home coming : Charlie Austin got the early goal after just 41 seconds to put more pressure on their former manager who is now feeling the heat at the moment as Everton have now gone 6 games without a win. One of the major stand out player was Van Dijk, who is currently on the radar of some big clubs in the league.
