Real Madrid Equals Barcelona's Spanish Record Of 39 Games Unbeaten

Real Madrid equalled Barcelona's Spanish record of 39 games unbeaten in all competitions by beating Granada 5-0 to move six points clear at the top of La Liga.

Zidane's magic touch on Real Madrid cannot be written off, because he has finally turned Real to the real Los Blancos we all know and want.

On Saturday Madrid finally got one over their fierce rival, Barcelona by breaking the record they set in 2015-2016 season.

The most fascinating fact about the record was that it was this same Real Madrid that put to an end to Barcelona's record in 2016 when they defeated them 2-1.

The last time Madrid have tasted defeat thus far, was in the Champions League, when they lost to Wolfsburg 2-0.

They now have the chance to surpass their biggest rival when they play against Sevilla in the Copa del Rey quarter finals second leg on Thursday.
