What a Week

OK guys, welcome to the round up of all the sporting events that took place over the weekend. Lol !! Lots of surprisesfor you guys.
  It was surely a legendary weekend for us all as new records were set by legends and big teams dumped out of cup competition. Some won their games and while others lost.

Top Ten Amazing Stuff That Happened Over The Weekend

1. Serena Williams defeated her sister Venus in an entertaining Australian Open final by 6-4, 6-4 to win her 23rd grand slam title. Invisible


2. Roger Federer then beat his long time rival Rafael Nadal by 6-4 3-6 6-1 3-6 6-3 to claim his 5th Australian open title and his 18th over all grand slam title. Legendary


3. Liverpool's misery hit a new height after being dumped out of the FA cup competition by championship side Wolves. They lost 1-2 at home as Jurgen Klopp men have just won one game out of Eight in the year 2017. Disappointment.


4. Westham finally agree to sell Dimitri Payet to Marseille after accepting their 25m bid for their superstar turn rebel. Freedom.


5. Barcelona drop another 2 points as they played a 1-1 draw with struggling La liga side Real Betis. Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez combination in the 90th minute of the game, saved Barca from a shocking humiliation in the hands of Betis. Shocking.


6. It was easy peasy for Real Madrid as they go 4 points clear in the LA liga race after defeating Real Sociedad by 3- 0. After rivals like Barcelona, Athletico Madrid, and Sevilla all dropped points it was a chance for Madrid to steer clear of them, and they took the opportunity brilliantly as goals from Kovacic, Rinaldo, and Morata proved the difference. Clinical.


7. No problem for Manchester United, Man city, Arsenal, and Tottenham as they all cruised into the next round of the FA cup competition. Solid.


8. Arsene Wenger was given a four match ban after his misconduct in Arsenal's win over Burnley. Well deserved.


9. PSG denied all three points as Monaco snatched a late draw in the 93rd minutes to remain top of the table. Edison Cavani 81min strike was looking like the winner until Bernardo Silva spoilt the party with a late minute strike to break the hearts of all PSG fans out there. Lucky.

10. Burkina Faso, Egypt, Ghana, and Cameroon all through to the Semi finals of the African Cup of nations. Watch out !!
