We have witnessed lots of incredible displays and shocking results this week. And it surely looks promising already that we are in for more surprises.
What a Week Already
1. From Real Madrid's unbeaten run coming to an end and also losing back to back games - 2-1 to Sevilla and 1-2 at home to Celta Vigo in the quarter finals of the Copa del Rey competition. Bad luck !
2. Novak Djokovic received the biggest upset of his life after getting knocked out of the Australian Open by world No 117, Denis Istomin. Wait for it - in just the second round of the competition. Painful.
3. Highly rated Brazilian golden boy Gabriel Jesus finally completes his move to Manchester City. Just in time.
4. Barcelona finally win a match at the Anoeta Stadium of Real Sociedad !!!! after 10 good years without a win. Neymar only goal in the match broke the spell as they defeated Real Sociedad in the first leg of their Copa del Rey quarter final match. Magical.
5. Mercedes finally chose a new team mate for Louis Hamilton in former Williams driver Valtteri Bottas. He replaces the retired champion Nico Rosberg at Mercedes. Sensational.
6. Memphis Depay's failure at Manchester Utd is coming to an end as he prepares to move to the French Ligue 1 to play along side Lacarzette at Lyon. Shameful.
7. Manchester United becomes the richest football club in the world after overtaking Real Madrid at the top by earning over £515.3m. At least something is moving in their life. Dope.
