Why We Love Football : The Weekend Football Round Up

Welcome to football round up where we tell you how it all went down in the world of football.
This week was awesomely unpredictably exciting as team like Manchester City and RB Leipzig destroyed our chances of making cool money, especially the money to flex and enjoy this christmas holiday, but we will still enjoy our holidays.

We learnt a lot this weekend as Jamie Vardy got back his scoring boot by netting a hat-rick as Leicester city destroyed Man City at home by 4-2. Arsenal continued their blistering form by defeating Stoke City by 3-1 with our home boy Iwobi getting on the score sheet.

Chelsea 9th straight win was achieved by Diego Costa's Solitary goal as they defeated Westbrom by 1-0. Finally, Manchester United ended their draw syndrome by defeating Tottenham by a solitary goal, scored by Mkhitarayn who was later stretched off during the match. Liverpool inconsistency begins as they drew with Westham 2-2 in a thrilling encounter.

Ramos again was the hero as he secured all 3points for Real Madrid in the 93rd minutes of the game against Deportivo. Messi at the double as Barca won Osasuna by 3-0. Sevilla also bounced back with a 3-0 win also. In Germany, Bayern Munich go top as they destroyed their opponent 5-0 as RB Leipzig 13 games unbeaten came to an end as they were defeated by Inglostadt.

Juventus Cruised to a 3-1 win over Torino with Higuain getting a brace and Napoli and Inter Milan also getting a win too in their respective games. Monaco won Bordeaux to go top, and PSG were held to an entertaining 2-2 draw by second place Nice in the French Ligue 1.

These are the things we Learnt during The Weekend

1. Pep Guardiola's Man City side looks confused and out sort : When Guardiola came into the EPL a lot of people predict that he is going to struggle, but, he surprised every one by going 10 games unbeaten. But right now he is asking too much of his City side as they were deservedly beaten by Leicester City. He started the game with a 3-3-3-1 formation which their opponent exposed well enough. He started Zabaleta in Midfield, and also did some funny tactics which cost the team the game. This is not Bayern nor Barca, he is trying to rush everything, bros , this is the EPL build a formidable team and then start your tactical work.

2. Chelsea Should Just Take The Title Already : Chelsea display against Man United, Man City, Tottenham, and Westbrom shows how deservedly this team should be crowned champions at the end of the season. Westbrom started the game with 6 at the back but chelsea displayed champions stuff and character as Diego Costa solitary goal proved the difference between the two teams. Blue is the colour !!! Right now the sky is surely Chelsea Blue !!!

3. What would Real Madrid Do Without Ramos : After last week El Clasico where he saved Real Madrid from the hands of Barcelona, Sergio Ramos did it once more and this time he gave Madrid 3points at the death of the game against Deportivo. It was heading for a draw until Ramos spoilt Deportivo's party by getting the winning goal for Madrid.  Well done Captain Fantastic !!!

4. Mkhitarayn Proved His Worth Once More As his Goal ended Man United "Draw Syndrome " : Even though he had to leave the pitch injured, Mkhitarayn performances so far , should earn him a Ballond'or nomination. Just kidding, but he has been man united shinning light in the past four games. Tottenham literarily lost the game because they met an in - form Mhkhi. Draw syndromes finally came to an end as they won their first game since September, but can Man united build on that ??

5. What can I say, are we really sure Liverpool are title candidate as they drop more points again.

6. Messi the Messiah as Barca beats Osasuna : It was looking like a draw till the little magician got a brace and started the attack which led to Luis Suarez goal as Barca got their first win after 3 consecutive draws.

7. Bayern Munich Back in form as Muller goal drought came to an end in the team 5-0 emphatic win.

8. PSG dominance is gradually going down as its now officially a 3 horse race in France. Ooops , Emery boys are struggling to get the perfect medicine to heal their sluggish display so far.

9. Juventus still looks Unstoppable.

Thank you for reading, and God bless Nigeria !!! Amen
