Football players are really loved worldwide for their absolutely mind blowing display on the pitch, with their various abilities they have been able to win the heart of many. But some players just do too much to impress and this in turn lands them in trouble.
  When players starts acting like swimmers then you actually know that something is wrong somewhere . A lot of players should be nominated and given the Oscar awards for their theatrical performances on the pitch because they are really good actors.
  Diving is a problem, and it is an attempt by a player to gain an unfair advantage by falling to the ground and possibly by feigning an injury, to give impression that a foul has been committed. And this is done in order to get either a freekick or penalty kick.

10. Cristiano Ronaldo : schocking right ? He is unarguably one or if not the best player on earth. He can score with his head, both legs, hands, butt, and can also dive. Gone at his days at Man Utd, Ronaldo can't just stay on his feet. With minimal contact Ronaldo could turn it into a big deal. This led to Iceland coach branding him as an "actor" when he displayed his diving abilities during the 2016 Euro championship.

Adnan Januzaj : The young lad might not be having the best of times right now at Sunderland, but the talented Belgian is also good at diving, to the extent that during Louis Van gaal reign at Man Utd he got more yellow card for diving than goals. He got 5 cards for diving and 4 goals. Even though he is very skinny, he should try to stay on his feet.





8. Oscar : The former Chelsea player would not only be remembered for his technical, and skillful abilities at the bridge, but he would also be remembered for his diving ability too. Oscar has been criticized most times for going down easily after challenge. But his biggest acting show came when he tried to win Chelsea a spotkick against Southampton when he easily went down in the box following a tackle from Kevin Davies, which surely earned him a yellow card.




7. Diego Costa : nicknamed "The Beast ". He is surely a beast on the pitch. Costa is undoubtedly one of the best strikers in the world right now, but when it comes to cheating on the pitch, he is also good at it. Costa would go down easily looking for free kicks and penalties during matches. Feigning of injury is also one of his trademarks. He brilliantly got Per Mertesacker sent off during a match between Chelsea and Arsenal, with videos later showed he dived. Against Swansea he got a yellow card for diving too.



6. Pepe :do you remember the champions League final match between Real Madrid and Athletico Madrid ? If you do, then you should remember the incident when Pepe threw himself to the ground dramatically in order to get Felipe Luis sent off. That's diving, and Pepe is surely good at it. It is only Pepe that would tackle a player badly and then hold his own face as if he has been elbowed. Pepe should have many Diving d'or  award in his cabinet.



5. Arjen Robben : Let's just sum it up in the words of Arsene Wenger who said " Robben is very good at getting maximum nothing. He is a good player and as well as a very good diver but it's part of him. He said it after he failed at getting a penalty for Bayern during the game against Arsenal. Robben diving ability made German Verbeek the Coach of Bochum to say he was " ashamed to be dutch" after robben won a dubious penalty during his team 3-0 loss to Bayern.




4. Gareth Bale : The real Madrid star is also a diver. During his time at Tottenham he was known for his dubious antics to get opposition players into the referee book. Holding his head, legs, arms and so on just to win a penalty or free kick for his team.



3. Neymar : Lol ! All hail the diving king. Neymar is surely ranked among the top five best  players in the world, and as well as among the top 5 divers too. He has been booed, got into a fight with a Man City fan, yellow carded, injured all in the name of diving. The Brazilian is very good at diving to the extent everybody thought he was feigning his injury after that brutal tackle by Zuniga  on him in the World Cup.

Ashley Young : The Manchester united versatile player surely knows all the rudiments of diving and if you need any lesson on how to dive, he will most definitely give you the introduction to diving. Paul Scholes blasted Young when he dived during Man Utd 1-0 win over CCSKA Moscow. Ashley Young jumps, roll, and do all sort of styles to deceive referees.





1. Luis Suarez : Tony Pulis said Suarez should be ban during his time at Anfield. Suarez can dive for Africa, leave Diving for him, because he is not only the king but the godfather of diving. Most times you just wonder if Suarez was the one that invented  diving in football because he is just so perfect at it.
