Boxing Day Football Round Up

It was another great day for all football fans out there. As the league that doesn't go to sleep gave us something to cheer about on Christmas eve.
While Chelsea and Manchester United made things pretty easy for themselves, Arsenal and Man City had to break through walls to get their respective victories.

Things We Learned On Boxing Day

1.Chelsea looks unstoppable : Eden Hazard inspired his team to a 3-0 win over Bournemouth and this took them to 12 wins in a row and they are now two wins away from equalling Arsenal's invincible record. The little Belgian put in a 10/10 performance giving an assist and a goal, and he almost scored a rebona from 20yrds out. The trophy is right now in their hands and we don't see anybody snatching it from their hands.

2. Consistency Is Back For Man United : Hazard was doing his own thing at the bridge, while Zlatan Ibrahimovic was tearing down Old Trafford with another wonderful performance, as he got two assists and a goal as Man United defeated David Moyes Sunderland by 3-1. That means Utd are now unbeaten in more than 17games and also have 4 straight wins. What they have actually lacked so far was consistency and right now they have it. Did you saw Mikhi's scorpion kick goal ?? If you didn't then you missed a lot.

3. Olivier Giroud saves Arsenal once more: he did it against Man utd, and he was again to the rescue as his 88min header helped Arsenal to their 21 straight victory against Westbrom. It wasn't easy though, as Westbrom backed the bus and frustrated Arsenal through out the game. Arsenal surely needed the victory to bring back the confidence in them after losing back to back games, and they got it through their star striker-- Olivier Giroud.

4. Man city expectedly Defeated Hull city : The only highlight of the game was the fact that second half substitute Iheanacho inspired Man City to a 3-0 over the Tigers.

5. Sam Allardyce Got a Draw in his first game in charge : Crystal palace fired their manager Alan Pardew and brought in " Big Sam" to rescue them from the relegation zone. His first game in charge ended in a 1-1 draw against Watford, and one thing we know Sam for is that he never gets relegated.

6. Lukaku Needs Something Bigger Than Everton : No disrespect to Everton but its time Lukaku get a bigger platform to showcase his talent because right now he looks bigger than the club itself. Eventhough, he flopped at Chelsea because he wasn't given the opportunities to shine, but in truth, he has done everything asked of him at Everton. The Belgian goal destroyed Leicester City as they won by 2-0.

7. Victor Valdes Mistake cost Middlesbrough As they were defeated by Burnley 1-0.

8. Bob Bradley's Time Is Running Out At Swansea City As They were on the end of another disgusting loss at the hands of fellow strugglers Westham United : They were beaten by 4-1.

Merry Christmas y'all
