Bob Bradley Rejects Reports

Bob Bradley start to life at Swansea City hasn't be that fantastic with lots of media reports suggesting that it is due to the fact that some of the players are not happy with his training methods.

Recent newspaper reports claimed some members of Swansea's squad have been left bemused by Bradley's methods but the former USA manager has rubbished the claims.

"There is no truth to it," Bradley told Jim White, live on Sky Sports News HQ on Christmas Day.

"We have had a very good response [from the players]. Since I have arrived, the focus has been on shorter, sharper training with more intensity and tempo.

"We've tried to make sure everything from warm-ups to gym work is balanced and right but I have to say the response from the players has been very good.

"You know how it works. Who knows where this has come from? Sometimes things come out from agents, family or friends of those who maybe in the moment have not played so well.

"But those things don't mean too much."

Bradley has won just two of his 10 matches in charge since replacing Francesco Guidolin in October.

Bradley has been working with Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins on transfer targets
Swansea currently sit 19th in the Premier League and Bradley revealed he has already spoken to the club's American owners Jason Levein and Steve Kaplan about potential acquisitions in the forthcoming January transfer window.

"We've had very good discussions with Jason and Steve," Bradley said.

"Huw Jenkins, our head of recruitment Dave Leadbetter, and I, have come up with some good targets.

"We all understand how important this transfer window is and we're ready to add some players to the squad but it's important that the group that has been training for the next couple of matches stands up and finishes this part of the season.

"We must finish up 2016 in a good way so that we can use the momentum heading into 2017."

Bradley, who admitted Swansea's Boxing Day fixture with West Ham is a must-win game, ended with a special message to the Swans faithful.

"Boxing Day, we are in it together," he said. "We are counting on you and we'll see you all at the Liberty."
