Manchester United skipper Wayne Rooney's son Kai is reportedly training with the Red Devils' rivals Man City.

The seven-year-old has been in United's setup since October, playing with the development side, but has now apparently undergone sessions at the City Football Academy.

Rooney himself has turned up to watch his lad show his skills, report the Daily Mail.

Premier League clubs can not officially sign players until they are nine and it is commonplace for kids to play at several academies before settling on a side.
